The River Cross Theme:
We honor the paddle boat era of the late 1800’s on all the rivers of our great country as well as our location near the shore of the Ohio River in west Kentucky.

The Tall Stacks:
Mark the presence of the paddle wheeler. A source of travel, entertainment, as well as a source of provisions, food, clothing, general supplies basic for survival in the 1800’s. The tall stacks, represent strength & might, a constant reminder to all who see them both then and now. Sure isn’t hard to see the correlation with the tall stacks and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Arch:
Is done in blood red, symbolizing the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross of Mt. Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.

The Flags:
The US Flag shows our patriotism to this great country, one nation, under God. Christian Flag, represents our devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Cross:
Positioned between the tall stacks as a symbol of God’s mercy and grace.

The Ships Wheel:
A symbol of God’s willingness to guide our daily lives, if we let him.

The Anchors:
They represent the stability we need, as we live day-to-day, in the rough waters of life.
